Every historical event occurred because of events that happened beforehand. Any event recognized as having state, national, military, or historical significance is considered important.

The United States Of America

The American Revolution with the British resulted in the founding of the United States Of America. The Second Continental Congress issued the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The Continental Army and Navy defeated the British military paving the way for independence of the thirteen colonies.

The new country was set up as a ( Constitutional Republic). Many people today think that we have a Democracy, but not so. Benjamin Franklin remarked, ” We have a Republic if we can keep it”. Lenin stated, ” Democracy leads to Socialism”. One Hundred and Forty Eight years later, there is a chance we could lose the Republic to a Federal Republic. The future generations should embrace our Constitution and Bill of Rights of Citizens or forfeit these rights given to us from our forefathers.
